Southern Alps Jet Christchurch is owned by proud Cantabrians Paula and Johnny Sharp and Dean Frew, who love showing their guests a hidden part of our beautiful province.
Johnny has over 25 years' experience driving jet boats on the Waimakariri and knows the river like the back of his hand.
Formerly known as Springfield Jet, operating jet boat tours on the Waimakariri for 15 years, we are based at the Rubicon Valley Tourist Centre in the town of Springfield, which is 50 minutes drive from Christchurch.
Our boats meet stringent New Zealand Maritime Safety standards and our drivers are all experienced and fully qualified. Maritime New Zealand sets strict driver guidelines and all our staff exceed the required standards.
