Any of our jetboat tours can be made as exciting or relaxed as you wish. The tour you choose depends on how much time you have, and how much of the Waimakariri River you want to explore.
If you are undecided, our advice to guests is “the further you go on the Waimak, the more beautiful the scenery gets.”
All our tours begin at our base at the Rubicon Valley Tourist Centre in Springfield. Transfers from Christchurch to Springfield are available if required for groups from 2 to 200, picking up from city hotels and motels.
In our heritage farm building you will be kitted out for your adventure with a water-proof jacket, hat and gloves and a life jacket.
The boats are boarded via a ramp, which makes them accessible for everyone, from 2 to 92 � in fact our oldest passenger so far was 94! Once on board, all passengers are given a briefing on the safety equipment and what to expect on your journey.
